The WH Space Revamped!
In the past few months or so... the White House, an event management club own by students for students of the ADP/UIU department has gone through a DOWN TIME, reelecting and removing old and new members alike. We are sorry that the board has not been updated since January 1st...
We are sorry to say that the CLUB is going through a recruitment process and will be back at the END OF MAY, 2010, but with a newer BOARD of COMMITEE which will be confirmed again.
Members (who are followers) on the 28th of MAY 2010, there will be an AGM meeting which will require all the commitee members to be present on the 28th of MAY 2010. Location of the meeting is currently at SEGi University College, Kota Damansara. It will be confimed via SMS through your leaders.
However we can assure you that there will be events going on again and our ACOUSTICA POOLSIDE PARTY is back on. Watch out for it!! *^^*

Halloween Experience (Aftermath)
Commentary by Jaycee, Head of Creative Crew
First of all, i would want to thank all my members (in various departments) in The White House Committee for making the effort (sleepless days for 4 days before the event. i love stress) in helping out with the decoration. Decoration work is pretty fun right, right? =p Bringing back your creative instincts from the HeyDays of high school... Of course, NOT to forget the The House of Fayette members who enlisted themselves for voluntary work in helping decorations -- <3>
secondly, there was no issues when getting everyone to worked on the decorations, and everyone was happy (i hope) that the event turn out to be a very successful one. the crowd was a wonderful bunch of people and it was indeed THE NEXT BEST EVENT for the calendar year of 2009 for The White House. It was everyone's effort to make this event come true. THANK YOU! (the first event was the "ACOUSTICA" POOL PARTY which turned out to be a blast for everyone!)
THANK YOU EVERYONE for kicking my arse and your own (*^-^*) for helping out on decorations. I LOVE YOU ALL SO MUCH that you are all my comrades in action. but this would be my last major event as i won't be in The White House for long because i will be graduating (Don't you DARE JINX it!!!) next year. I really really appreciate everyone for being active in their post as members and leaders, but i'm not to keen on those who M.I.A often and NA.TO alot... get it?. (getting all emo emo now.... uuuu)
Eventhough, this year has is my first year at SEGi UC, I havent had such commited members such as members of The White House. I thank you all for everything that you ALL have done. HAHAHAHA. thank you all.

The WHITE HOUSE HALLOWEEN ROXXoooRRR!!!

The Halloween party dubbed the ‘Gypsy Circus’ at SEGi University College really lived up to the words ‘Halloween’ and ‘Party’. Gypsy Circus was organized by members of White House club and was open to students studying the American Degree Program with Upper Iowa University, USA as well as other interested SEGians.
The sponsorship team was extremely enterprising and resourceful, resulting in an impressive long list of sponsors. They managed to ring in financial support from Talent Hub, Celcom, Youth Asia, Powered by TM, Concorde Hotel, DR Holdings, Big Apple, Chocolate Malaysia and some private donors.Thanks to this team of persistent sponsor-hunters, the organizers were able to fund the decorations, audio-visual system and other costs
needed. Gypsy Circus organizers did an amazing job giving the AGM and its entrance the real feel of Halloween, complete with skeletons hanging from the ceiling, cobweb doorway, Phantom of the Opera bouncers and the works.
They had spotlights and colourful revolving disco lights that gave the room a club-like ambience. The seats and stage set-up were cleverly arranged, and guests could buy food and refreshments at the same time. Without the performers and guests, though, the night wouldn’t have been such a huge success either. Gypsy Circus organizers made sure they had the best performances for their guests. Prior to the event, they conducted auditions and short-listed 8 of the best.
The night began with sexy belly dancers Amanda and Sue (White House members) followed by talented rappers Vishnu and Vishal who are Mass Communication students. Next up were an upbeat dance performance by Talent Hub and a number by a band of musicians from ADP and Mass Communication. Then, Dance Dance Revolution and the Lollipoppers rocked the floor with their moves. For comic relief there was the Pussy Cat Balls (PCB) consisting of a group of very sporting and brave guys who cross-dressed and grooved to the music. Lastly, local artistes Joanna & Co. ended the night with a bang. The guests lived up to the theme, looking pretty convincing too. Some came as witches, the Reaper, she-devils, Michael Jackson, zombies and anything as far as the imagination can stretch.“This year’s Halloween party is a greater success than last year’s. We learned from last year’s experience and perfected the event this year. Thanks to all my White House committee members" says a fellow White House Committee member.
